Inspired by the many vibrant facets of Antigua, Guatemala, this styled tropical destination wedding inspiration photo shoot draws on the striking heritage and landmarks of the city and all it has to offer. Planned and coordinated by Gladys, from Saguzo Events. Layers of colorful floral design from Expressions Artes Florales adds softness to the bold color palette of the tableware and decor from Unik Décor Rental Boutique.  The romantic floral arch feature creates a canopy over both the wedding ceremony and bride and groom table, lending an air of intimacy to the outdoor reception. Gracing the guest place settings are the delectable treats from  Sofía Cobián Pasteles de Alta Costura, which incorporate some of the local favorites sweets like candied guavas. Not only do these bites look beautiful, they are sure to leave your guests' mouths watering for more. For the ceremonial, cutting of the cake,  Sofía Cobián created a wedding cake decorated with bright colorful artwork inspired by a Mayan painter. Each pop of color, from the purple and green goblets, to the coral, pink, and orange centerpiece flowers, and the red, blue, and green cake and surrounding landscape, was perfectly married to create a rainbow dream for the eyes. This vivid tropical wedding inspiration is nothing short of magical, complete with quetzales and parrots, both at the venue and featured in the stationary from Inkandnibs.

The rich hues of the brightly colored bridal bouquet are complemented by the fiery red beading in the bride's jewelry. The coin earrings, created by  María de los Ángeles S. de Arana, feature 5c coins Quetzales, the local currency of Guatemala. The bride's makeup, by Vilma Coy, which was vintage inspired but with a delicate dewy finish, enhances her beauty and allows her stunning features to shine through. Her hair is transformed into an updo that mimics the surrounding greenery, with intricate petal like waves and curls, and fresh flowers finishing the look. A soft and flowing veil is added, which drapes to the floor to cover the bride's face, creating a dreamy cloud like cocoon.

Cocktail hour is greeted by hand-blown glasses filled with the wedding signature cocktail 'Quetzalteca Rosa de Jamaica'. Each glass is adorned with miniature handmade DIY guest favors called 'Worry Dolls', which according to Guatemalan legend have the ability to remove worries from people as they sleep, offering well wishes and sentiments to your guests. More bold color and luxurious texture is layered throughout the reception with pompom adorned chairs and bright huipil from Del Palomar.
